Not even my roommates know my middle name. Once people know it, they tend to be inclined to use it when I get in trouble, which bothers me greatly.

I don't think that has much to do with it. My friend who is Muslim, and all of her family, have multiple middle names.

I'm Chelsea Rae.
For the first 9 years of my life my parents couldn't/didn't care to remember the proper way to spell my middle name, so on most photos of me in my younger days are inscripted with "Chelsea Ray" or "Chelsea Rea."
